ALPS were contacted via Mansell Construction in conjunction with ES Consulting 2000 to investigate and report on a water entry problem within the towers situated above the newly refurbished Parliament buildings. Water entry through the old single pass handmade louvres was allowing water to fall onto the new air conditioning unit below.

To ensure that no water entered the towers ALPS installed triple bank louvre.

Extreme care and attention was required throughout the installation due to the historic nature of the building and brittleness of the cast iron structure.

Concealed within the 17th Century cast iron towers, modern triple bank louvre type 3UL/SH finished to blend in with the towers and surroundings now protects the recent refurbishment below.
